Flaka Latifi is an acclaimed actress, known for her performances in theater and film. She gained international recognition for her role as QE in the feature film The Hill Where the Lionesses Roar, which premiered at the Director’s Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021.
For this role, she won the prestigious “Heart of Sarajevo” award at the Sarajevo Film Festival. Her two most recent films are Okarina and Palma. Flaka graduated in Drama from the University of Prishtina, Kosovo, and is a guest member at the National Theatre of Kosovo.
She received the “Best Young Actress” award at the “Moisiu” Festival for her outstanding portrayal of Julia in 1984 by George Orwell. Her other theater performances include Macbeth, Tartuffe, La Rrem, After the War, Who Are We, and How I Learned to Drive.
